I love music. For some people, they are happy to have music on in the car when they are driving, but once they are home, they simply turn it off and go on with their lives. I am not one of these people. I have music around me always. Whether I am having my breakfast, driving to work, at work, during dinner, and even sometimes when I am going to sleep it is always around me.

So I am constantly on the look out for really good music. I have a highly varied taste in what I see as enjoyable music. Whether it goes from Jazz to Reggae, or from Rock to Hip Hop, I can appreciate it. I can see when people are actually doing it because they love it, not because it is going to make them money.

This is why I created this site. This site is dedicated to some of my favorite artists. I aimed to look at about 100 to start off with, and to continue to grow this as I get time, or as I hear good new music. Most of the artists on this site are generally not in the top 20 (although some of them should be). They are generally passionate musicians that are independent. Which is why the site is named what it is.

Check through the site and take a look at the different bands that I have selected for you, and the albums of theirs that I really like. If you have any suggestions on good music that you would like to see on here, or that I should at least check out, please let me know. I am constantly on the lookout.

Remember, how good music is, isn't necessarily correlated with how popular it is.
